Location: Dublin City; Pembroke Street Subject: Single page from the diary of Michael Healy, stained glass artist and founder of An Túr Gloine. Entry begins at 10am on Pembroke Street and Healy describing how he made a third attempt at painting the centre light of the Clongowes window and brought it down to be fired. He also goes on to say that he picked out the remainder of the glass for the Cork window and that ‘Miss Geddes’ came into the shop and brought her cartoon. Healy recounts that he left the shop at 3.30pm, went home, had his dinner and cleaned and oiled his bike. He describes how ‘Matt’ had called and that night and had better news from the Doctor about ‘Eileen.’ Healy concludes the entry by recalling that Miss Purser was in the shop that day and appeared to be in bad humour. He also writes that a new man will be cementing in the shop. People of Note: Wilhelmina Gedes, Sarah Purser, Matt, Eilleen.
