Petrology - Grey, lightly streaked, coarse mottled. Description - Roughout. Flaked all over surface. Flaking distinguishes blade and butt end, left side broad and flattened, right side thinner, irregular, pointed in places. Roughed out butt tending towards pointed form, sloping sharply face 2 to face 1. Face 1 flat adjacent to left side, slopes sharply to right. Face 2 has a distinct narrow band of weathering? (or is it grinding?) on the blade area adjacent to the edge. Patches of weathering over remainder of both faces. Core taken from left side.
