Transcript of a life history interview with 'Janine'; from Cohort 3 (born 1965-1974) of the Life Histories and Social Change collection; Female, Roman Catholic, married, a mother . Rachel discusses differences between the maternal and paternal sides of her family and divisions around social class in her community growing up in the south-East. She also describes how her family dealt with her mother's cancer, her university years, and her work as a secondary school teacher. All names have been anonymised. Access to the transcript is through application to the Irish Qualitative Data Archive and is restricted to bona fide researchers and teachers, and to students that are currently registered at a third-level academic institution.
