Petrology - Dark grey, fine grained parallel bedded mudstone. Description - Sides - Flattened, more marked at blade and butt end. Junction of sides with edge sharp, junctions of sides with butt clear on left, damaged on right. Edge - Sharp. Minor to medium sized chipping in centre. Slightly C-shaped in profile. Blade Area - Moderate level of polish, but finer than faces. Areas of irregular scratches' in centre of Face 2. Faces - Very regular. Well ground. Moderate level of polish. Butt - Damaged by single medium sized chip on right side. Makes morphology difficult to determine. Appear to have been flat/pointed. No striae. Fine specimen. Dimensions (length x width x thickness) - 13 cm, 7.7 cm, 2.7 cm, 370g.
