Petrology - Grey, parallel laminated fine grained mudstone. Description - Sides - Narrow facetted. Junctions of sides with edge damaged on left, merge on right. Rounded junctions with butt. Edge - Worn and blunted. Minor chipping over entire length, Damaged by a large post-manu. flake scar on Face 1 right side which extends onto the blade area. Blade Area - Large post-manu. flake scar on Face 1 right side. Otherwise regular, well ground. Face - Regular. Well ground. Face 2 flattened along centre. Two to three small remnant flake scars adjacent to both sides on both faces. Butt - Flaked only. Slightly irregular. Laminations in stone clearly visible. Dimensions (length x width x thickness) - 18.1 cm, 8.4 cm, 3 cm, 689g.
