The manuscript contains three tales: 'Gaisgidheach na Míoltog', 'Gadaí an tSliabh Ruadh' and 'Rí in Éirinn a raibh mac agus fiche aige'. The pages are not numbered. An inscription at the beginning indicates that the tales were recorded from Seán Ó Gaora from Litir Deisceirt, Cárna. The tales are not recorded in the hand of Mr. Mac Giollarnáth. A transcript of the tale 'Paidín Mac Cártha agus na Sidheogaí' is inserted. This tale was recorded from Bartly Walsh from Béal Chláir, Tuaim by John Treacy, Court Clerk from Tuaim, Co. Galway.
