Petrology - Fine to coarse grained parallel bedded(?) brown facetted quartz (meta)sandstone/schist?? Description - Sides - Both facets. Junctions of sides with edge clear, rounded junctions of sides with butt present. Edge - Blunt, but no damage. Appears unfinished?. Blade area - Very regular, well ground, with a moderate to high level of polish. Single minor chip in centre of face 2. Faces - Very regular, well ground, with a moderate to high level of polish. Centre of both faces markedly flattened, especially face 2. Butt - Original, no damage. Comes to a point, formed by the junctions of the broad facetted sides. No distinct striae. Dimensions (length x width x thickness) - 23.2 cm, 8.3 cm, 3.3 cm, 917g.
