This is a collection of oral histories gathered by the local history charity Cuimhneamh an Chlair / Clare Memories, focusing on life in the towns of county Clare. The creation of this collection has been funded by the Heritage Council.
The interviews consist of audio recordings, usually in the interviewee's home, of wide-ranging conversations with Cuimhneamh an Chláir Cuairteoirí. The files are accompanied by photographs of the interviewees, where available.
Towns discussed include Ennis, Ennistymon, Kilkee, Kilrush, Lisdoonvarna, Miltown Malbay, Shannon, Scarriff among others.
