Petrology - Polished green coarse grained foliated chloritic schist. Description - Sides - Both broad rounded. Junctions of sides with edge present. Junctions of sides with butt missing. Right side damaged in centre by a deep and irregular, post-manufacture flake scar. Edge - Sharp. A few minor chips, concentrated in centre. Blade area - Both very regular, well ground with a moderate level of polish. Faces - Both very regular, well ground with a moderate level of polish. Centre of face 2 ground only. Butt - Damaged. Appears to have originally been pointed, but the point is broken off leaving a small irregular scar. Very light striae adjacent to edge on both faces, running perpendicular to the edge. Dimensions (length x width x thickness) - 12.6 cm, 6.3 cm, 3 cm, 326g.
