Petrology - Dark grey, fine grey banded mottled around haematite clusters. Description - Sides - right pointed, left markedly flattened but irregular, junction of sides and edge present on left, right side and edge merge, junction of sides and butt present on left, right side and butt merge. Edge - worn and blunted, minor chipping centre and left. Blade - differentiation in polish between blade and face on face 2, Face 1 has a few small remnant flake scars either side, Face 2 possibly reground and repolished? Faces - both faces small to medium remnant flake scars adjacent to both sides and towards butt, Face 2 single large remnant flake scar adjacent to left side, distinct thin polished ridge between this and scars adjacent to right side, polish sparse on upper portion of both faces, upper portion of face 1 in particular has irregular appearance. Butt - complete, flat surface in part (may be original weathered surface) Core taken from left side. E.B Dimensions (length x width x thickness) - 14.1 cm, 6 cm, 3 cm, 391g.
