In 2014, The Atlantic Philanthropies awarded € 2,210,000.00 to the Irish Refugee Council. The grant titled Irish Refugee and Migrants Rights Centre - Sustaining Access to Justice and Services for Migrants and Their Families was given to improve rights of the most vulnerable asylum seekers, refugees and economic migrants by sustaining critical skills, expertise and capacity during the vital initial years of the implementation of comprehensive immigration reform.
