Description

Self-Managing Rheumatoid Arthritis: A Photovoice Study' is a national participatory action research project. This was a qualitative study involving 11 people with rheumatoid arthritis who were tasked with taking photographs of what they understood as “the challenges and solutions to living with rheumatoid arthritis”. Fieldwork involved a series of workshops and interviews with participants to capture their lived experience. It was carried out in the summer of 2019 and culminated with the public exhibition of a selection of the participant's photos. This is a photographs taken by the partipcant and discussed within a face to face semi-structured interview.
