Tipperary (Fig. 1-2 ). A programme of fieldwalking by ADS Ltd. in August to November 1999 revealed the presence of a possible 25 archaeological sites along the proposed route which required further investigation. These consisted of eight fulachta fiadh, two possible medieval sites, a possible pre-bog field wall, four possible late medieval sites, seven find sites of artefacts and three sites which may be natural and not archaeological in nature (O'Brien & Hughes, 1999). All of the above sites were allocated letters (A-Z) and their locations are outlined on the attached map (Figure 2). This report details the investigations and subsequent excavations that took place along the route in advance of road construction.Transport Infrastructure IrelandMurphy, DonaldClarke, LindaArchaeological Consultancy Services Ltd2001-04TextImagepdfapplication/pdfenBronze Agehttp://n2t.net/ark:/99152/p06hps8vvgzIrelandTipperaryhttps://www.logainm.ie/46636.aspx https://www.logainm.ie/1375541.aspx east=184569; north=180193; projection=INGeast=584523; north=680232; projection=ITMCopyright and all related rights including moral rights in the reports and other documents provided by TII is owned by either the TII or the authors of the individual reports.
